Eight Crazy Nights is a 2002 American adult animated holiday musical comedy film directed by Seth Kearsley and produced, co-written by and starring Adam Sandler, in his first voice-acting role. Unlike most mainstream holiday films, it centers on Jewish characters during the Hanukkah season, as opposed to the Christian celebration of Christmas (despite being animated in the style of television holiday specials). The plot centers around a troubled alcoholic named Davey Stone, who is sentenced to community service as a basketball coach by an elderly man named Whitey.
PhantomStrider personally considers this the absolute worst of Adam Sandler due to its repulsive protagonist, the non-stop toilet jokes, and the ear-piercing voice acting by Sandler as Whitey. However, he still does not hold the movie against Sandler's reputation since he hears that he is a really decent guy in real-life, and continues to give him some credit regardless of his films' qualities.
