Quote

  • "It's no mystery to me why Drawn Together is generally hated! It's black, it's needlessly crude, it's gorey, it's cruel! But there's one big difference between it and Family Guy. Drawn Together is actually smart! A bit like Robot Chicken, it doesn't try to paint these characters as good or normal members of society. It knows its bottom of the rum, and embraces it so wholeheartedly, you can't help but respect it. In something like Family Guy, these cruel, sadistic, evil characters are just treated as "normal". This is how "normal" society is. But Drawn Together is so comically over-the-top that it's impossible to take it seriously. And the character's aren't painted as "normal" people. They're painted as psychopathic rejects of society. And I think that's one of the keys."

-His summary of why he personally likes Drawn Together.

Trivia

  • A sequel to this video is made 4 months later on April 13, 2017.
  • 2nd time he reviews Drawn Together (excluding the infamous movie). 1st time as his most controversial cartoon on February 16, 2015. Though in Most Controversial Cartoons he talks about why it's controversial, and here, he gets to talk about why he prefers this over something like Modern Family Guy.
    • He says one of the reasons why he likes Drawn Together, despite it's mature content, is the fact that the characters are never seen as the good guys or their immoral deeds are acceptable in-universe, while in something like Modern Family Guy, the immoral acts the characters do are just seen as no big deal, and just your "average citizen" (especially since Peter gets away with his cruelty just because he's "mentally challenged").
  • He previously mentioned Rocky & Bullwinkle: The Movie as an honorable mention in Worst Cartoon Live Action Remakes.
