Dishonorable Mentions[edit | edit source]

Film Image Release Date Status on Rotten Tomatoes/IMDB Why It's Not on the List
Ninja Turtles Movie
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film July 2014 poster.jpg
August 8, 2014 22% (5.8/10) "I hate Michael Bay! And the first Ninja Turtles Bay movie certainly deserves a place on this list. But purely to make it a more pleasant list to make, I gave it a skip in favor of Howard the Duck."
Inspector Gadget 2
March 11, 2003 40% (3.5/10) "Ugh! Awkward acting and exhaustingly brightly colored! If you'd like to see my review of this one, I did so in the Top 10 Worst Disney Movies."
Cat in the Hat
Cat in the hat.jpg
November 21, 2003  9% (3.9/10) "As abysmal as a movie as this is, it was originally based off the Dr. Seuss book. So thankfully, I could leave it off this list."
Scooby Doo: The Movie

June 14, 2002 30% (5/10) "I'm staying well away from Scooby-Doo for a while, but if you do like it, good for you. It's just not my cup of tea personally."
The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle
June 30, 2000 43% (4.2/10) "This one's an honorable mention. The visual gags are really funny, and it's beautifully self-aware. It reminded me of a can't be Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I liked the dialogue and script too much to have this on the list."
Yogi Bear: The Movie
Yogi Bear Poster.jpg
December 17, 2010 13% (4.6/10) "As much as I don't like the Yogi Bear Movie or Yogi Bear, honestly, it's harmless enough, and you already know you're in for a stupid experience walking into the cinema, and it's actually a fairly affectionate, faithful remake of the original 1960s cartoon. The creators obviously watched a lot of the original cartoon to make this. So as much as I don't like it, it doesn't quite make my list."

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • During Jem and the Holograms, Strider refers to Jerrica Benton as "one of the sisters", although she is the star and titular character.
  • He foreshadows this list in Worst Cartoon Remakes (July 25, 2016) during his dishonorable mentions when he says "These are probably getting their own list because they'd take up the whole list otherwise."
  • While mentioning Scooby-Doo: The Movie on dishonorable mentions, he says "But if you do like it, good for you. It's just not my cup of tea personally.", likely as an apology while calling almost every Scooby-Doo show, along with the movie and specials, his #1 worst cartoon remake. He stands by on his opinion, but said that in case if he offended anyone who liked Scooby-Doo. He would later review Scooby-Doo in his Top 5 Cartoons I Hate That Everyone Likes (January 8, 2017).
  • He said he can leave the Cat in the Hat movie off the list since it was made from a Dr. Seuss book, and later puts the movie at #3 (AKA: "Rotten" Films) in Worst Movies of All Time (January 21, 2017).
  • He mentions Rocky & Bullwinkle: The Movie as an "honorable" mention since he liked the gags and dialogue. He'll later review it 2 months later on his Cartoon Guilty Pleasures on December 3, 2016.
